Breathing in Lavender Essential Oil is calming and relaxing, especially at bedtime. Did you know it also can be diffused during the work day to help with stress, focus and concentration? When children are doing homework, it is helpful to aid with focus and calmness. It can be diffused, breathed in from a cupped hand or applied to wrists with a roller bottle .
Lavender Essential Oil is also a wonderful support for skin. It reduces the appearance of blemishes and soothes cuts and burns. Many people like to mix it with a carrier oil such as coconut, however, it is a mild oil and can in most cases also be applied directly to the skin. It is wonderful added to natural facial creams with or without Frankincense Essential Oil and is especially good for aging skin. A drop can also be added to a tube of mascara to keep it smelling beautiful and to help it stay fresh. Many people like to add a few drops of Lavender Essential Oil to shampoos, creams and other beauty products.
Lavender can be mixed with coconut oil or Shea butter for an all natural balm. A few drops can be added to Epsom salts and/or sea salts to add to a warm tub bath. Mixing 10 drops of lavender with 2-4 Tablespoons organic fractionated coconut oil and a 1/2 cup organic raw sugar makes a wonderful body shower scrub. Lavender can be applied directly to the bottom or the feet or mixed with a carrier or massage oil for a relaxing back, neck or foot massage.

You can make your own lavender linen spray-just add 20 drops Lavender Essential Oil and 1 Tablespoon grain alcohol or vodka into a 2 ounce spray bottle. Top off with distilled water. For a nice twist add 6 drops of Lime Essential Oil . The alcohol is added is so that when sprayed on pillows and sheets, it will dry more quickly and not dampen the bedding.
You can make your own lavender roller bottle-just add 10-20 drops of Lavender Essential Oil to a 10ml roller bottle, top off with a carrier oil.
